பாரம்பரிய மருத்துவப் படிப்புகள் - ஆயிரத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட இடங்கள் நிரம்பவில்லை 

நிகழாண்டில் பாரம்பரிய மருத்துவப் படிப்புகளில் ஆயிரத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட இடங்கள் காலியாக உள்ளன. அரசுக் கல்லூரியில் 61 இடங்கள் நிரம்பாமல் காலியாக உள்ளதாகத் தகவல்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன. அதேபோல் தனியாா் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரிகளில் உள்ள அரசு ஒதுக்கீட்டு இடங்களில் 429 இடங்கள் நிரம்பவில்லை.

 தமிழகத்தில் சித்தா, ஆயுா்வேத, யுனானி, ஹோமியோபதி ஆகிய ஆயுஷ் படிப்புகளுக்கு 5 அரசு கல்லூரிகள் உள்ளன. அதிலுள்ள 330 இடங்களில், அகில இந்திய ஒதுக்கீட்டுக்கு 50 இடங்கள் வழங்கப்படுகின்றன. இதேபோன்று 26 தனியாா் கல்லூரிகளில் 1,990 இடங்களில் 15 சதவீதம் அகில மத்திய அரசு ஒதுக்கீட்டுக்கு அளிக்கப்படுகிறது.

 மீதமுள்ள இடங்களில் 65 சதவீதம் மாநில அரசுக்கும், 35 சதவீதம் நிா்வாக ஒதுக்கீட்டுக்கும் உள்ளன. நிகழாண்டில் அரசு ஒதுக்கீடு, நிா்வாக ஒதுக்கீடு, தனியாா் கல்லூரிகளின் அகில இந்திய ஒதுக்கீடு இடங்களுக்கு மாநில அரசு கலந்தாய்வு நடத்தியது. அதில், அரசுக் கல்லூரிகளில் 24 சித்தா இடங்களும், 3 ஆயுா்வேத இடங்களும், 7 ஹோமியோபதி இடங்களும், 27 யுனானி இடங்கள் நிரம்பவில்லை. 

அதேபோன்று, தனியாா் கல்லூரிகளில் உள்ள அரசு ஒதுக்கீட்டு இடங்களில் 272 ஹோமியோபதி இடங்கள், 54 ஆயுா்வேத இடங்கள், 24 சித்தா இடங்கள் காலியாக உள்ளன. அகில இந்திய ஒதுக்கீட்டிலும் 127 இடங்கள் நிரம்பாமல் உள்ளதாகத் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதேபோல், மொத்தமுள்ள 521 நிா்வாக ஒதுக்கீட்டு இடங்களில் 503 இடங்கள் காலியாக உள்ளன. அந்த இடங்களை இரண்டாம் சுற்று கலந்தாய்வில் நிரப்ப முடிவு செய்திருப்பதாகவும், அகில இந்திய கலந்தாய்வு இன்னும் நிறைவு பெறாததால் அது தாமதமாவதாகவும் இந்திய மருத்துவத் துறை அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனா்.

Traditional medical courses – more than thousand seats are unfilled

More than a thousand seats are vacant in traditional medical courses this year. According to the information, there are 61 unfilled seats in the government college. Similarly, 429 seats in the government reserved seats in private medical colleges are not filled.

  Tamil Nadu has 5 government colleges for Ayush courses namely Siddha, Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy. Out of its 330 seats, 50 seats are allotted for All India quota. Similarly, 15 percent of the 1,990 seats in 26 private colleges are allotted to the central government.

  Of the remaining seats, 65 percent are reserved for the state government and 35 percent for administrative quota. In the current year, the state government conducted a consultation for the all-India reserved seats of government quota, management quota and private colleges. Out of that, 24 Siddha seats, 3 Ayurveda seats, 7 Homeopathy seats and 27 Unani seats are not filled in government colleges.

Similarly, 272 Homeopathy seats, 54 Ayurveda seats and 24 Siddha seats are vacant in government reserved seats in private colleges. It is reported that 127 seats are unfilled in all India quota. Similarly, out of total 521 administrative quota seats, 503 seats are vacant. Officials of the Indian Medical Department have said that they have decided to fill those seats in the second round of consultation and the All India consultation is yet to be completed, so it will be delayed.
