 ஸ்ரீ சுவாமிநாராயன் குருகுலம், குருதேவ் சாஸ்திரிஜி மகாராஜ் தர்மஜிவந்தஸ்ஜி சுவாமியால் ராஜ்கோட்டில் 1948-ஆம் ஆண்டு உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. 25,000-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவர்களுக்கு பள்ளி கல்வி, இளங்கலை மற்றும் முதுகலை படிப்பு வசதிகளை வழங்கி, உலகம் முழுவதும் 40-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட கிளைகளை இந்த நிறுவனம் தற்போது கொண்டுள்ளது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Over the past 75 years, Gurukula culture has inculcated good thoughts and values in the minds of students for their overall development.

He said that India was world-famous for its gurukuls during the time when the identity of a country was its kingdom. Modi also recalled that Indian civilization had women thinkers like Kargi, Maitreyi and Aatreyi when the world did not realize what gender equality meant.

  Sri Swaminarayan Gurukulam was established in Rajkot in 1948 by Gurudev Shastriji Maharaj Dharmajivantasji Swami. It is noteworthy that the institution currently has more than 40 branches across the world, providing school education, undergraduate and postgraduate facilities to more than 25,000 students.
