இரண்டு நாள்களுக்கு மிதமான மழைக்கு வாய்ப்பு

 மாண்டஸ் புயல் ஆழ்ந்த காற்றழுத்தத் தாழ்வு மண்டலமாக வலுகுறைந்து, வட தமிழக பகுதிகளில் நிலவுவதால், இரண்டு நாள்களுக்கு (டிச.12, 13) மிதமான மழைக்கு வாய்ப்பு இருக்கும் என வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் தெரிவித்தது. அதன்படி சென்னையில் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் இன்று காலை முதலே மழை பெய்து வருகிறது.

 அம்பத்தூர், மயிலாப்பூர், பட்டினப்பாக்கம் உள்ளட்ட இடங்களில் விட்டு விட்டு மழை பெய்து வருவதால் பள்ளி மற்றும் அலுவலகத்திற்கு செல்பவர்கள் மிகுந்த சிரமத்திற்குள்ளாகியுள்ளனர். மேலும் தொடர் மழை காரணமாக ஆங்காங்கே போக்குவரத்து நெரிசலும் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. 

இதனால் மக்களின் இயல்பு வாழக்கை பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனிடையே சென்னை, செங்கல்பட்டு, திருவள்ளூர், காஞ்சிபுரம், ராணிப்பேட்டை, விழுப்புரம், கடலூர் உள்ளிட்ட 17 மாவட்டங்களில் அடுத்த 3 மணி நேரத்தில் மிதமான மழைக்கு வாய்ப்பு உள்ளதாக வானிலை ஆய்வு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

The Meteorological Department has informed that as the Mandus storm has weakened into a deep depression and prevails in the northern parts of Tamil Nadu, there will be a chance of moderate rain for two days (Dec. 12, 13). Accordingly, it has been raining in various places in Chennai since this morning.

  People going to school and office are facing a lot of trouble due to heavy rains in Ambattur, Mylapore and Pattinpakkam. Also due to continuous rain there has been traffic jam in places.

This has affected the normal life of the people. Meanwhile, 17 districts including Chennai, Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Ranipet, Villupuram, Cuddalore are likely to receive moderate rain in the next 3 hours, the weather forecast said.
