இந்த புளூ டிக்கிற்காக பயனாளர்களிடம் மாதம்தோறும் ரூ.1600 வரை (19.99 அமெரிக்க டாலர்கள்) கட்டணம் வசூலிக்க டுவிட்டர் நிர்வாகம் முடிவு செய்துள்ளது என முதலில் ஒரு தகவல் வெளியாகி இருந்தது. இதற்கு பல்வேறு தரப்பினரிடம் இருந்தும் எதிர்ப்பு கிளம்பியது. அமெரிக்காவிலேயே பலரும் கடும் கண்டனங்களை தெரிவித்தனர். டுவிட்டர் நிறுவனமே தங்களுக்கு கட்டணம் தரவேண்டும் என்றும் கூறினர். இந்நிலையில் வர்த்தக யுக்தியாக, டுவிட்டர் புளூ டிக்கிற்கு இனி மாதம் 8 டாலர் (660 இந்திய ரூபாய் மதிப்பு) கட்டணம் வசூல் செய்யப்பட உள்ளது என விலை குறைப்பு செய்து எலான் மஸ்க் அறிவிப்பு வெளியிட்டார். கட்டணம் செலுத்துவோர், வீடியோ, ஆடியோ போன்றவற்றை கூடுதல் நேரத்திற்கு பதிவு செய்யலாம் என்ற சலுகைகளும் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டன.

புது அறிவிப்பின் இடையே, யாரேனும் தங்களது டுவிட்டரின் அதிகாரப்பூர்வ பெயரை மாற்ற முற்பட்டால், அது புளூ டிக் குறியீடு இழப்புக்கு வழிவகுக்கும். அந்த பெயரை டுவிட்டர் நிறுவனம், சேவை விதிகளுக்கு உட்பட்டு உறுதி செய்யும் வரை பெயரை பெற முடியாமல் இழக்க நேரிடும் என்றும் மஸ்க் கூறியுள்ளார். புளூ டிக் கட்டண சேவை அறிவிப்பை மஸ்க் வெளியிட்ட பின்னர், 2 நாட்களுக்குள் கடந்த 11-ந்தேதி அதனை தற்காலிக நிறுத்தம் செய்து வைத்துள்ளார். போலி கணக்குகள் புளூ டிக் சேவையுடன் இருப்பது பற்றி அறிந்ததும் இந்த நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த சூழலில், புளூ டிக் கட்டண சேவை வருகிற 29-ந்தேதி மீண்டும் அமலுக்கு வரும் என்ற அறிவிப்பு வெளியிடப்பட்டு உள்ளது.

This service in India costs Rs. 719 and if this is accurate, it will be offered to iPhone users first. Elon Musk said that if anyone who pays for Twitter's Blue Tick service misuses it, they will lose their fees and their accounts will be permanently disabled. In this case, the Blue Tig payment service was temporarily suspended last week. Elon Musk said he will bring back the service by the end of next week. According to this, in a message posted by Musk on Twitter, he said that in a few months, all blue tick codes that do not pay will be deleted. What this means is that those who have previously availed of Blue Tick will have to pay a fee to renew it.

Amidst the new notification, if anyone tries to change their Twitter official name, it will lead to the loss of the blue tick code. Musk also said that the name would be forfeited until Twitter confirmed it was in compliance with the terms of service. After Musk announced the BlueTick payment service, he temporarily suspended it on the 11th within 2 days. The move came after it came to know about the presence of fake accounts with the BlueTick service. In this context, it has been announced that the Blue Tick payment service will be reactivated on the 29th.
