இருதய துடிப்பை கண்காணிக்கும் 'எலக்ட்ரானிக் ஸ்டெதஸ்கோப்' செயலியை லண்டன் கிங்ஸ் கல்லுாரி விஞ்ஞானிகள் கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளனர். உலகில் முதன்முறையாக 1816ல் 'ஸ்டெதஸ்கோப்பை' பிரான்சின் ரெனெ லென்னக் கண்டுபிடித்தார். இது இருதயத்தின் துடிப்பு, அதன் ஒலி, நுரையீரல் செயல்பாட்டை அறிய பயன்படுகிறது. 200 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப்பின் 'எலக்ட்ரானிக் ஸ்டெதஸ்கோப்' செயலியை கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளனர். 

 இந்த செயலியை அலைபேசியில் பதிவிறக்கம் செய்து பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும். மார்பு பகுதியின் குறிப்பிட்ட இடங்களில் அலைபேசியின் 'மைக்ரோபோனை' வைக்க வேண்டும். அப்போது ஒருவரின் இருதய துடிப்பு, 'லப் டப் ஒலி, இருதய வால்வு திறக்கும், மூடும் சத்தம் செயலியில் 'ஆடியோ பைலாக' பதிவு செய்யப்படும். இதனை ஆய்வு செய்து இருதயத்தில் பாதிப்பு இருக்கிறதா என்பதை கண்டறியலாம். இந்த செயலி முதல் கட்டமாக 7500 பேரிடம் பரிசோதனை செய்யப்பட்டது.

Scientists at King's College London have invented an 'electronic stethoscope' to monitor heart rate. The world's first stethoscope was invented in 1816 by Rene Lennoc of France. It is used to detect heart rate, sound, lung function. After 200 years the 'Electronic Stethoscope' was invented.

 You need to download and use this app on your phone. Place the phone's 'microphone' at specific points on the chest. Then one's heartbeat, the sound of a heartbeat, the sound of heart valves opening and closing will be recorded as an 'audio file' in the app. It can be examined to find out if there is damage to the heart. The app was first tested on 7500 people.
