 முன்னதாக, பள்ளி மாணவர்களின் தமிழ் மொழித் திறனை மேம்படுத்திக் கொள்ளும் வகையில் மாநிலம் முழுவதும் தமிழ் மொழி இலக்கியத் திறனறிவுத் தேர்வு நடத்தப்படும் என்று அரசு தேர்வுகள் இயக்ககம் அறிவித்தது. 

 அக்டோபர் மாதம் 1ம் தேதி நடைபெறும் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்ட இந்த தகுதித் தேர்வுக்கு, தமிழகத்தில் உள்ள அங்கீகாரம் பெற்ற அனைத்து வகை பள்ளிகளில் பயிலும் (CBSE/ICSE உட்பட) 11ம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்கள் விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம் என்றும், இத்தேர்வில் 1,500 மாணவர்கள் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டு அவர்களுக்கு பள்ளிக் கல்வித்துறை மூலமாக மாதம் ரூ.1,500/- வீதம் இரண்டு வருடங்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் என்றும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டது.

 செப்டம்பர் 9ம் தேதி வரையில் இதற்கான விண்ணப்பங்கள் பெறப்பட்டன. இந்நிலையில், தமிழ்மொழி இலக்கிய திறனறிவுத் தேர்வு அக்டோபர் 15ம் தேதிக்கு ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக தமிழ்நாடு அரசு தேர்வுகள் இயக்ககம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இதுகுறித்து வெளியிடப்பட்ட செய்திக் குறிப்பில், பல்வேறு தரப்புகளில் இருந்து பெறப்பட்ட கோரிக்கையின் அடிப்படையில் இந்த முடிவெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

இத்தேர்வில் 50 விழுக்காடு அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்களும், மீதமுள்ள 50 விழுக்காட்டிற்கு அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் உள்ளிட்ட பிற தனியார் பள்ளி மாணவர்களும் தெரிவு செய்யப்பட உள்ளனர். எனவே, மாணவர்கள் இந்த கூடுதல் கால அவகசாத்தை பயன்படுத்தி தேர்வுக்கு தயராகுமாறு கேட்டுக் கொள்ளப்படுகின்றனர்.

Class 11th students studying in all recognized schools (including CBSE/ICSE) in Tamil Nadu can apply for this qualifying examination announced on 1st October and 1,500 students will be selected and they will be given Rs.1,500/- per month for two years by the School Education Department. reported. 

 Applications for this were received till September 9. In this case, the Tamil Nadu Government Examinations Directorate has announced that the Tamil Literary Aptitude Test has been postponed to October 15. In the press release issued in this regard, it has been informed that this decision has been taken based on the request received from various parties. 

 In this examination, 50 percent government school students will be selected and the remaining 50 percent government school students and other private school students will be selected. Therefore, students are requested to use this extra time to prepare for the exam.
