அரசு கல்லுாரிகளில் கூடுதல் மாணவர் சேர்க்கைக்கு அனுமதி

 அரசு கல்லுாரிகளில் கூடுதலாக 20 சதவீத இடங்களில் மாணவர்களை சேர்த்து கொள்ள தமிழக அரசு அனுமதி அளித்துள்ளது. தமிழக உயர்கல்வித்துறை கட்டுப்பாட்டில் உள்ள 163 அரசு கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் கல்லுாரிகளில் இளநிலை பட்டப் படிப்பில் முதலாம் ஆண்டிற்கான மாணவர் சேர்க்கை இறுதி கட்டத்தை எட்டியுள்ளது.

 ஆனாலும் பல பாடப் பிரிவுகளில் மாணவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு இடங்கள் கேட்டு கல்லுாரிகளில் விண்ணப்பித்து வருகின்றனர். இந்நிலையில் அரசு கல்லுாரிகளில் ஏற்கனவே அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட இடங்களை விட கூடுதலாக 20 சதவீத இடங்களில் இளநிலை பட்டப் படிப்புக்கான மாணவர்களை சேர்த்து கொள்ளலாம் என தமிழக உயர்கல்வித்துறை நேற்று உத்தரவிட்டது. 

இதற்கான அரசாணையை உயர்கல்வி முதன்மை செயலர் கார்த்திகேயன் பிறப்பித்துள்ளார். அதேபோல அரசு உதவி பெறும் கல்லுாரிகளில் 15 சதவீதமும் சுயநிதி கல்லுாரிகளில் 10 சதவீதமும் கூடுதல் இடங்களில் மாணவர்களை சேர்க்கலாம் என அரசாணையில் கூறப்பட்டு உள்ளது. 

இந்த சேர்க்கைக்கு சம்பந்தப்பட்ட கல்லுாரிகள் தங்களின் இணைப்பு அந்தஸ்து வழங்கும் பல்கலைகளில் அனுமதி பெற வேண்டும்.

Permission to admit additional students in government colleges

 The Tamil Nadu government has given permission to admit students in additional 20 percent seats in government colleges. 163 Government Arts and Science Colleges under the control of Tamil Nadu Higher Education Department have reached the final stage of admission for the first year of undergraduate courses.

 However, students are applying to colleges for seats in many subjects. In this case, Tamil Nadu Higher Education Department yesterday ordered that students can be admitted for undergraduate studies in 20 percent more places than the already allowed places in government colleges.

Higher Education Principal Secretary Karthikeyan has issued an order in this regard. Similarly, it has been stated in the decree that 15 percent of the government-aided colleges and 10 percent of the self-financed colleges can admit students in additional places.

For this admission the concerned colleges have to seek admission from their affiliated universities.
