தமிழ்நாடு தேயிலை தோட்டக் கழகத்தில் பணிபுரிந்து ஓய்வு பெற்ற தொழிலாளர்கள் மற்றும் ஊழியர்களுக்கு 1:10.2017 முதல் வழங்கப்படாமல் இருந்த பணிக் கொடை பலன்கள் வழங்கிட ரூ. 29.38 கோடி நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு மாண்புமிகு தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர் திரு. மு.க. ஸ்டாலின் அவர்கள் உத்தரவு.

 மாண்புமிகு தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர் திரு. மு.க. ஸ்டாலின் அவர்கள் தலைமையில் இன்று (29.8.2022) தலைமைச் செயலகத்தில், தமிழ்நாடு தேயிலை தோட்டக் கழகத்தில் (டேன்டீ) பணிபுரிந்து ஓய்வு பெற்ற தொழிலாளர்கள் மற்றும் ஊழியர்களுக்கு கடந்த 1.10.2017 முதல் வழங்கப்படாமல் இருந்த பணிக் கொடை பலன்கள் மற்றும் இதர பலன்கள் அளிப்பது தொடர்பாக ஆலோசனைக் கூட்டம் நடைபெற்றது.

 கடந்த 23.05.2022 அன்று மாண்புமிகு தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர் அவர்கள் நீலகிரி மாவட்டத்திற்கு வருகை தந்த போது குன்னூரில் அமைந்துள்ள தமிழ்நாடு தேயிலைத் தோட்டக் கழகத்தில் பணிபுரியும் தொழிலாளர்கள் மற்றும் ஊழியர்களின் பல்வேறு கோரிக்கைகளை கனிவுடன் கேட்டறிந்தார். மேலும், டேன்ம கழகத்தை ஸாபம் ஈட்டக்கூடியதாகவும், செம்மையாகலம் நடத்துவதற்கு பல்வேறு நடவடிக்கைகள் எடுத்திட அலுவலர்களுக்கு உத்தரவிட்டார். 

இலங்கையிலிருந்து தாயகம் திரும்பியவர்களுக்காக கடந்த 1968-ஆம் ஆண்டு தமிழ்நாடு அரசு வனத்துறை மூலம் நீலகிரி மாவட்டத்தில் 'அரசு தேயிலைத் திட்டத்தை' நிறுவியது. இலங்கையிலிருந்து தாயகம் திரும்பிய 2445 குடும்பங்களுக்கு (4082 தொழிலாளர்கள்) கடந்த 1976-ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் நிரந்தர வேலை ணாய்ப்பு, தங்குவதற்கு வீடு மற்றும் இதர வசதிகள் ஏற்படுத்தித் தரப்பட்டது.

 இவ்வாறு குடியமர்த்தப்பட்ட ஒவ்வொரு குடும்பத்திலும் இரண்டு நபர்களுக்கு நிரந்தர பணி வழங்கப்பட்டு வருவதோடு அவர்களின் வாரிசுதாரர்களுக்கு அதிக இலைவரத்து உள்ள பருவ காலங்களில் தற்காலிக பணியும் வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. தற்போது டேன்டீயில் 3600 நிரந்தரத் தொழிலாளர்களும். 220 தொடர் தற்காலிக தொழிலாளர்களும் பணிபுரிந்து வருகின்றனர்.

 இன்று நடைபெற்ற ஆலோசனைக் கூட்டத்தில், டேன்டீ கழகத்தில் பணிபுரிந்து ஓய்வு பெற்ற தொழிலாளர்கள் மற்றும் ஊழியர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படாமல் நிலுவையில் உள்ள ஓய்வுகால பயன்களை வழங்குவதற்கு நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்ய முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டது.

 அதன்படி, தமிழ்நாடு தேயிலை தோட்டக் கழகத்தில் பணிபுரிந்து ஓய்வு பெற்ற தொழிலாளர்கள் மற்றும் ஊழியர்களுக்கு கடந்த 1.10.2017 முதல் பணிக் கொடை முனைய விடுப்பு ஊதியம் மற்றும் இதர சட்டப்படி வழங்கப்பட வேண்டிய பயன்களான விடுப்புடன் கூடிய ஊதியம், மருத்துவ ஊதியம் வழங்க தேவையான 29.38 கோடி ரூபாயை விடுவித்து மாண்புமிகு முதலமைச்சர் அவர்கள் ஆணையிட்டுள்ளார்.

 இத்தொகையினை வழங்குவதன் மூலம் 1066 ஓய்வு பெற்ற தொழிலாளர்கள் மற்றும் 101 ஓய்வு பெற்ற ஊழியர்கள் பயன் பெறுவர். மேலும், தற்பொழுது பணிபுரிந்து வரும் 3820 நிரந்தர தொழிலாளர்களும் மற்றும் 212 ஊழியர்களும் பயன்பெறுவர். ஓய்வு பெற்றபின் பயனாளிகள் பங்களிப்பை அளிக்கத் தயாராக இருக்கும் பணியாளர்களுக்கு தமிழ்நாடு நகர்ப்புர வாழ்விட மேம்பாட்டு வாரிய குடியிருப்புகளை முன்னுரிமை அடிப்படையில் வழங்க அரசு நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கும்.

Pension Benefits for Tea Estate Employees

To provide unpaid gratuity benefits to the retired workers and employees of Tamilnadu Tea Estate Corporation with effect from 1:10.2017 Rs. 29.38 Crore Fund Allocation Hon'ble Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr. M.K. Stalin's order.

 Hon'ble Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr. M.K. A consultation meeting was held today (29.8.2022) at the Head Office under the chairmanship of Mr. Stalin regarding the provision of gratuity benefits and other benefits which were not provided since 1.10.2017 to the retired workers and employees of Tamil Nadu Tea Estate Corporation (TANDEE).

 On 23.05.2022 Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu during his visit to Nilgiris district kindly listened to the various demands of the workers and employees of Tamil Nadu Tea Plantation Corporation located in Coonoor. He also directed the officials to take various measures to conduct a cleanup of the Danma Kazhagam.

In 1968, the Government of Tamil Nadu through the Forest Department established the 'Government Tea Scheme' in the Nilgiris district for the returnees from Sri Lanka. Since 1976, 2445 families (4082 workers) who have returned home from Sri Lanka have been provided with permanent employment, accommodation and other facilities.

 In this way, two persons in each resettled family are given permanent work and their successors are given temporary work during the peak season. Currently 3600 permanent workers in Dandee. 220 serial temporary workers are also working.

 In a consultative meeting held today, it was decided to allocate funds for payment of outstanding retirement benefits to retired workers and employees of Dandee Corporation.

 Accordingly, Hon'ble Chief Minister has released 29.38 Crore rupees required for payment of severance pay and other benefits such as leave pay and medical pay to the retired workers and employees of Tamil Nadu Tea Estate Corporation from 1.10.2017.

 By disbursing this amount, 1066 retired workers and 101 retired employees will be benefited. Also, 3820 permanent workers and 212 employees who are currently working will be benefited. The Government will take steps to provide Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board flats on priority basis to employees who are willing to contribute beneficiaries after retirement.

Principal Chief Conservator of Forest Mr. Syed Musamil Abbas, H.E. Dandee Managing Director Mr. D. V. Manjunatha, E.V.P., and senior government officials were present.
